Violet Evergarden is an anime been talking about for 2 years, because of the famous animation studio
,Kyoto animation.
Kyoto animation is a bid company produces great works of anime.
In the beginning I didn't really like this company because everybody is bragging about how good the anime will be, saying this is the "Savior of anime". Everyone is saying that good, so I've been waiting for a long time for this anime.
After finishing all the episodes it totally changed my points of views, talking about the basics: Song, Story and drawing skills. In Violet Evergarden, the company Kyoto animation did 10 out 10 nothing to say about. The fluent of the story, won't let you think is too slow or too fast, you can keep up the pace. Kyoto animation uses simple emotional effects, but it can perfectly bring out the sad but beautiful story, express the emotion of the characters.They use vast symphony and the perfect combine with the delicate drawings close up of the characters emotion, and vast background with slow motion together giving the whole view of the place, adding the poetic dialogue giving the audience emotional affect, after until the end, episode 10, is was amazing, showing the love of daughter and mother, letting the people who doesn't cry, having there eyes have a little bit tears dropping.
The technique that they uses is not adding up the emotional through episodes and episodes. It will just burst out only in one strong feeling. Doesn't matter which episode it gives a emotional and visual impact. Starting of the story we can know is the girls personality and think through why is she like that , after episodes, we can notice what happened behind the story and wish to help her.
This story is mainly talking about she being a "doll"doesn't have any feelings, who helps people to write letters and how Violet improve through traveling around the world, seeking new stuff and new people, mostly important seeking what is "love".Love is the basis of the story.The main girl Violet attending lots of war being a killer with his commander , when she was little. Doesn't have any feelings. The commander takes care of her every time, wishing she can be a normal girl. At the last battle, the commander died, and losing both of her arms, the commander last words is that "Live and free from the bottom of my heart, I love you" This story is not about war, describing war, but just let Violet finding the true meaning of love.
This story can perfectly show what "love"means, maybe it means love with your family or love between couples. But the meaning of love is more wide that we thought, in the story, it shows the girl and the boy's pure and innocent love, the power of love between mother and daughter and that love doesn't need any fancy words to express. In these recent days there aren't really any projects that can show what love is.
Now you have a wonderful life and a wonderful family, why don't you try to love and cherish the things around you. Even though like the main character Violet have crucial past and lock herself, but still tries to search the meaning that the commander says.After every trip, she finally got her true feeling to the commander. After all I definitely recommend this anime and remember what Claudia Hodgins (C.H postal company president) said to violet
"You can't erase the past, but what you did to help people won't be forgotten"
